WHAT IS A PERSONAL CARE HOME?

In Georgia, a personal care home is a term applicable to many different facilities.  Several types of facilities can fall under this umbrella, such as assisted living facilities and residential care facilities.  These facilities are ideal for the person that does not need round-the-clock nursing and medical care but does require more personal care and health services than independent living provides.

WHAT ARE PERSONAL CARE HOME SERVICES?

A personal care home provides meals, personal services and companionship for people who wish to maintain active lifestyles but need some level of supervision and help with daily personal needs.  Some of the personal services provided in this type of facility include assistance with or supervision of self-administered medication and essential daily living activities, such as eating, bathing, grooming, and dressing.

HOW DO I APPLY?

We encourage you to visit Angels Divine and discuss your personal care needs.  At this time you can tour the facility and complete the application for residence.

HOW DO I PAY FOR LIVING AT ANGELS DIVINE?

Residents or their families generally pay the cost of care from their own financial resources.  Depending on the resident’s health insurance or long-term care insurance policy, costs may be reimbursed.

IS THERE AN ENTRANCE FEE?

A one-time $500.00 entrance fee is required to reserves the available private or semi-private suites of your choice.  The Entrance Fee is not applied to any suite rate; however, it is non-refundable in the event that a resident is unable to move into Angels Divine.

WHAT IS RESPITE CARE?

Respite care is simply a service that supports and maintains the primary caregiving relationship by providing temporary care for a period of time, a week, a month, etc., to allow a change in your current living arrangement.  It can also be a great way for someone to test Angels Divine before moving in.
